Chile

Northern Patagonia | Lakes District

Welcome to the south of Chile! Discover its singular beauty and the unique living heritage of its original peoples.

Highlights

Puerto Varas

Puerto Varas is an enchanting town with a sweeping lakeside promenade and magnificent views of the distant volcanoes from the peaceful shores of Lake Llanquihue. Appreciate its traditional, unmistakably Germanic architecture and its pretty residential neighbourhoods with their well-tended gardens.

Puerto Montt

Puerto Montt is the gateway to Chiloé, Aisén and Chilean Patagonia, where the islands and fjords of Patagonia begin. Discover its port identity, the salmon culture there and delectable cuisine, particularly seafood.

Volcán Osorno

The Volcán Osorno (Osorno Volcano) is the perfect icon of the Lake District in Chile with its unique colours, many slopes and its distinctive summit covered with white unspoilt snow nearly all year. It reaches a height of 2,661 meters above sea level, making it visible from every point in Osorno.
