Iguassu Falls

The town of Foz do Iguaçu is situated on Brazil’s shared frontier with Paraguay and Argentina. One of the most important sights is the Iguaçu Falls, formed by 275 separate waterfalls and listed as a Natural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO. Hito Tres Fronteras  

Partake in a pleasant walk and reach the point where the Iguaçu and Paraná rivers connect; here, you can observe Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina from one place. The Three Borders landmark symbolizes the meeting of these three neighbouring Latin countries, each with a different language, but with a common intersection of their waters. The landmark has over 400 years of history and its construction is a tribute to the Jesuit missions.
